Blackboard Ally, a built-in tool available right now in your courses, will be the focus for the first half of the session. You can leverage Ally to make content more accessible for all your students. Join Teaching & Classroom Technology in this workshop to learn more about the features of Ally and how it benefits you and your students, including:
Accessibility scores for the files in your course(s)
Overall course accessibility score
Improve course content accessibility with step-by-step instruction
Generate alternative versions of your course content
For the second half of the session, we will focus on creating accessible Word documents and converting them to PDF, as well as built-in accessibility tools such as the Immersive Reader, Dictation and the Accessibility Checker.
